These policies and procedures incorporate a professional and ethical framework to ensure that all employees, volunteers, and contractors are aware of the required standard of behavior at Foundation Global DreamWeb (Hereafter Global DreamWeb or GDW).

This policy applies to anyone working on behalf of Global DreamWeb, including senior managers and the board of trustees, paid staff, volunteers, sessional workers, partners, vendors, suppliers, consultants and others with whom we provide assets in exchange for services or products

Summary of Policies and Procedures

1. Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct has been documented to ensure that practices are standardized and made consistent throughout the organization. The Code has also been developed to ensure that legal areas and donor requirements are complied with at all times. The Code incorporates a professional and ethical framework to ensure that all employees, volunteers, and contractors are aware of the required standard of behavior at Global DreamWeb.

2. Child Protection and Safeguarding

To ensure that individuals, institutions or processes do or fail to do which directly or indirectly harms children or damages their prospect of safe and healthy development into adulthood. The main categories of Child Abuse are Physical Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Neglect/Negligent Treatment, Sexual Exploitation & Abuse and Exploitation.

3. Anti-Discrimination

To ensure that all employees at Global DreamWeb are treated equally in all employment matters regardless of sex, nationality, religion, handicap, marital status, personal association, sexuality, and pregnancy and that they are able to perform their job requirements in an environment that is free from discriminating behavior.

4. Bullying

To ensure that Global DreamWeb actively implement precautionary measures to minimize the risk of bullying occurring. And that “all reasonable steps” have been taken to reduce bulling and legal responsibility that is called “vicarious liability”.

5. Sexual Harassment

To ensure and promote a conducive work environment that is free from all forms of sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse and in which all persons are treated with respect and dignity.

6. Complaints Procedures

To ensure that complaints are taken very seriously and is designed to allow any employee to report any incident of misconduct, discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment, or any other form of inappropriate behavior.

7. Whistleblowing

To ensure that all employees can express concerns about malpractice/wrongdoing and to encourage employees to raise these at an early stage.

To Ensure that Global DreamWeb is resourced with people who have the potential to develop and take on more complex and challenging roles. And Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and donor requirements

9. Performance Management

To ensure that employee performance will be formally reviewed on an annual basis. To recognize strengths, identify areas for development, and to construct future plans that reflect the aspirations of the individual as well as the organization’s requirements.

10. Accountability

Global DreamWeb values its relationship with its donors, program beneficiaries, volunteers, and other stakeholders who partner with it to enable it to achieve its purpose. Global DreamWeb recognizes that transparency and accountability build trust and help those relationships to flourish.
